Welcome the Year 2012 with New Year's Eve Kirtan Darbar!
There will be New Year's Eve Kirtan Darbar to welcome the year 2012. All are invited to join the Sadh Sangat at Gurdwara Nishkam Seva in Irving on Dec. 31, 2011, 10pm-12midnight. Guru Ka Langar will be served and sweets will be distributed...let the New Year bring many blessings and let it start with Kirtan in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib Ji!
Gurdwara Nishkam Seva's New Building Status
We are pleased to announce that the excavation, utility and concrete work has been completed as of October 7, 2011. Gurdwara's parking lot is now available to sangat for parking vehicles and the foundation for the new building is also complete!
The plans for next phase of the construction will be announced at Guru Nanak Dev Ji;s Gurpurab celebrations on Sunday, November 6.
The total project cost for the new Building project is approx. $500,000 and the sangats have currently (as of October, 2011) raised about $150,000.
The Sadh Sangat humbly requests one and all to contribute financially in supporting this very needed project.
